New Feed Could Curb Cattle Emission Problem

When it comes to air pollution, cars are often blamed, but cows also play a major role. Air quality people say it’s time to think of both.

According to air regulators, methane produced by livestock make up a substantial amount of air pollution. The latest Bay Area clean air plan includes new rules on reducing emissions from dairies and the cattle themselves.

Now there is a potential regulation change that could help cows digest better and produce less gas. Our video report goes down on the farm too see the new feed make farms more green.
